Meet Sarah

Sarah Tennent,

MSAOM, EAMP, L.Ac

Sarah Tennent was born in Metro Detroit, Michigan but her roots reach all across the globe. As a child, Sarah spent time in her mother’s photography studio, socializing with clients and creatives whom encouraged her natural ability to laugh, smile and create. Her childlike wonderment for adventure and exploration helped prepare Sarah for her journey toward not only helping others but finding herself.

As she grew older, her passions blossomed. She felt a strong desire to volunteer her time helping those in need. During her first visit to China in 2001, Sarah noticed that unlike here in the States, preventative healthcare was incorporated into each person’s daily life due to rich cultural connections with ancient Chinese medicine. Following her high school graduation, Sarah attended the University of Colorado-Boulder and began studying Psychology and Neuroscience, with an emphasis on Cognitive and Developmental Health. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sarah returned to China to continue her studies, where she further developed her skills in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbal Therapy, Acupuncture, Sound Therapy, Cupping, Qi Gong and Massage Therapy.
